Potential tracks
This is a potential track for we thought it could be a good narrative video and the story behind it would be quite compelling for audiences, for it is about her moving on from her partner who left her, and so a few ideas we could use in this would be flashbacks and studio scenes. The flashbacks could show positive and negative scenes of their relationship, which would connect to the lyrics for she repeats it was the best thing to happen to her, and that she is moving on. The beat of the song is quite slow yet it has a good rhythm and so it would be possible to edit the video to the beat of the song.
We are considering this song for it is catchy and it has a nice rhythm to it, which could be good for editing. We are considering a narrative based video, and the video may go along the lines of McFly,s video, Love Is Easy, which uses props to visualise the lyrics. This is quite an imaginative idea, and it is not very usual so it could work in our favour. The props we could use for this song could be a fish on a line for the lyric "she fell for you like a fish on a line." Also, this is a cute love song, and so the mood would have to be happy and the editing should be upbeat, to the beat, and we would also need to sync up the props in the video and where they are presented in the lyrics.
This song is one of our possible tracks for there are many ideas we could create for it. It is called Garden, and so the colour green would be a paramount theme throughout the video. We would also have a scene with a long-shot of the girl walking through the forest, gazing up at the trees as she passed, lip-syncing the lyrics to the song. Another idea we thought could be quite good for this music video was a scene from Paramore- The Only Exception, where Hayley Williams is lying down on love letters, with an angled shot directly above her, looking down on her. We could incorporate this scene into our video and have her lying on the grass, looking up at the camera. This song is very catchy and upbeat, and so it would catch the audience's attention and work to our advantage.
We are considering this video for it is very upbeat and we could edit to the beat of the song which would be effective and create many fast paced shots.
